What we collect
When you place an order we collect and store:
- your name, phone number, and optionally your email address;
- the delivery address and ZIP code you provide, plus any delivery notes;
- the items, quantities, and prices in your order;
- your chosen delivery window;
- a payment screenshot, if you choose to upload one.
Your basket is stored in your own browser and is not sent to us until you place an order. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set any non-essential cookies. The only cookie we set is an encrypted session cookie for the store owner’s dashboard.
What we never collect
We do not handle card numbers or bank credentials. Zelle payments happen entirely inside your own banking app; we only see that a transfer arrived.
Why we collect it
Solely to shop for, pack, deliver, and account for your order, and to contact you about it. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Who processes it
- Our hosting provider, which runs the website and its database.
- Our object-storage provider, which holds uploaded images.
- Our messaging provider, when we text you about your delivery.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for seven years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. Payment screenshots are deleted 90 days after the order is completed. You may ask us to delete anything not required for those records.
Your choices
Email hello@michuu.com to request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the owner dashboard requires a password, and access to the database is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify affected customers promptly if we ever discover a breach involving personal data.
Children
Michuu is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
